If you’re like me ,and are always in a constant battle to get meals on the table that your kids will actually eat.You are going to love this recipe! I’m a mommy of four kids all under the age of 12 who are consistently whining about what we’re having.When it comes to food everyone has an opinion.But with this recipe, I know everyone will be happy.Not only is this recipe a crowd pleaser ,it’s also so convenient to have on hand.I usually freeze half to use in school lunches or for a quick meal.
3 cups warm milk
1 tablespoon sugar
2/3 cup sugar
3 tablespoons active dry yeast
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon salt
10 cups all-purpose flour
5 tablespoons butter softened or at room temp
8 ounces cheddar cheese
8 ounces mozzarella cheese
1 cup Parmesan
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder(optional)
1.In a large bowl, mix together the warm water and 1 tablespoon sugar. Sprinkle the yeast on top and let stand until it foams.
2.Mix the eggs,milk and salt into the yeast.In a separate bowl combine flour,2/3 cup sugar and five tablespoons butter.A little at a time mix the flour with the wet ingredients until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.Cover and set in a warm place for about an hour or until dough doubles.
3.Place dough on a floured surface, and roll out into a square.Sprinkle dough with cheese mixture(three cheeses combined) evenly.
Beginning with a long side, roll up dough ,cinnamon roll style.
